West Papuans united in the decolonization struggle against Indonesian colonial occupation.
For 60 years Indonesia has continued to exploit West Papua's vast gold ,oil and gas resources at the expense of Indigenous people who live in deep-rooted poverty and their every human rights unprotected.
It's important for Africans at home and abroad to unify and help our Melanesian Brothers and sisters regain their independence.
ECOWAS and the African Union should have deployed military intervention in West Papua to reclaim Papuan sovereignty.
